So, I have started college this year doing a BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in Photography. The first day being a really exciting but being a shy person, I was nervous!


The first day mainly consisted of getting to know everyone on the course and the lecturers. The group (of 11) was then taken out into Peterborough with film camera's, to get use to the feeling of them, and also, to try developing them in 'Dev tanks' by using a black bags to open the film up. Hard fiddly work, but we all eventually got there in the end and had a great time developing the film and waiting to print them. Unfortunately, my prints did not turn out great, but being my first time, I have realized what I need to learn for next time.
